Here's Johnny! Jackpot Johnny returns in 2015
One design that really caught the imagination of golfers worldwide, featured the custom shop character Jackpot Johnny. Having always been released in limited amounts, the Jackpot Johnny head covers are in high demand, not just amongst the golf playing public but also the professionals on the PGA Tour.
Jackpot Johnny had disappeared from view for a few years, having not been seen on a Scotty Cameron putter cover for some time. However, 2015 witnessed the return of the character at the Scotty Cameron custom shop on a limited edition run of head covers. That's not all, the Jackpot Johnny stamp also made a special appearance on engraved weights, which are perfect for experimenting with different weights on your putter. Not only are the weights ideal for perfecting your putting game, they look the business too.
The Jackpot Johnny stamp has also been spotted engraved on putters in the past and has been seen as recently as the 2015 Arnold Palmer Invitational but it's the head covers that really seem to catch people's attention.

There are many times, during the course of a standard working week, when it's possible to practice and improve your golf. The average person does not have time to get the to the golf course or even the driving range or practice greens every week. However, that should not be a reason to miss out on practice that week. In fact, it's possible to improve a very important part of your golf game, putting, during the course of your working day.

Rickie Fowler and his Magical Scotty Cameron Putter
Rickie Fowler burst on to the golf scene in 2007 and quickly became the number one amateur golfer in the world. In 2008, Fowler was one of only three amateur players to make the cut at the US Open, eventually finishing tied for 60th. Following the 2009 Walker Cup, where Fowler won all four of his matches, the young American became professional.
In his first PGA Tour event, Fowler finished in 7th place and went on to lose a play-off in his second professional tournament. The golf world was really starting to take notice of Fowler at this point and people were writing about the things he could achieve in the sport.
In 2010, Fowler was named as a captain's pick for the US Ryder Cup team and became the youngest ever member at the age of 21. The following year, Fowler made his first real statement at a major golf event, by finishing tied for 5th at the Open Championship. In 2012, Fowler claimed his first PGA Tour win at the Wells Fargo Championship but then had to wait three years for his next success and one that had the whole golfing world talking.
In May 2015, Fowler won the Players Championship, with an exciting play-off victory over Sergio Garcia and Kevin Kisner. The richest tournament in the sport and classed as the fifth major, Fowler played superbly towards the end of the fourth round. Going six under par for the last six holes, including an eagle, all the attention was on Fowler and in particular, his putter.
Fowler's putter of choice at the 2015 Players Championship was the Scotty Cameron Newport 2. There is nothing new in Fowler using a Scotty Cameron putter, he has had a relationship with them for over 10 years but a trip to their headquarters in 2014, might just have made the difference.
A day of analysis at Scotty Cameron resulted in the end of the flashy and colorful putters of the past and the emergence of something simpler, the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putter. From that point onwards, Fowler has been using the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 and started 2014 in fantastic fashion before claiming the Player Championship in 2015.
